The curing time depends on the processing temperature, the weather conditions, the depth and width of the joint and the moisture of the substrate. Drying usually takes place from the surface to the depth of the joint and slows down the deeper the joint is. The curing time is considerably longer in cold and damp weather. In warmer weather where the relative humidity can reach 100%, no skin or curing takes place. This is because a concentration gradient must be specified as a condition in acrylates. Avoid leaving water in the acrylic compound, as this can lead to erosion. For vertical connections, pay attention to the leakage behavior of the sealant.
